ORANGE-series Self-Encrypting Drives

ORANGE-series SSD: 50G Shock | 16.3GRMS Vibration

MEMKOR ORANGE-series consists of a broad range of SSD form factors, including 1.8”, 2.5” and 3.5” drives, as well as newer standards such as mSATA (MO-300B), M.2 (formerly NGFF), or special SSD in Chip form factor SSD. Available in SATA and PCIe/NVMe.


With SATA drives saturating the SATA III bandwidth of 600MB/s, PCIe/NVMe offers the most effective path to scale the performance up to 1,200MB/s and 200,000 IOps. Superior ruggedization of the ORANGE-series fulfills a wide range of deployments options in embedded applications, edge computing, and portable computers, desktops, or servers. 


The latest generation MEMKOR ORANGE-series SATA and PCIe/NVMe models support  TCG Opal 2.0, TCG Enterprise, or FIPS 197 validated encryption engine with ATA command based encryption management. FIPS140-2 Level 2 validated models available in 2.5", U.2, and M.2. More info here.


MEMKOR ORANGE-series features also include Write Protect, the fastest Data Elimination functions (Crypto Erase, Fast Erase, and Purge) and are designed and built to meet the most stringent Commercial and Industrial/Defense environmental requirements. Conformal coating is standard on all the Industrial/Defense grade 1.8”, 2.5” and 3.5” form factor models.


MEMKOR ORANGE Series PATA drives utilize a Native PATA interface (no SATA-PATA bridge), ensuring maximum performance, lowest power consumption and maximum compatibility with the existing PATA systems.
