MEMKOR ORANGE series SSDs consists of the broadest range of the standard form factor SSD solutions such as M.2, 2.5/U.2, mSATA and PCIe Express Cards (FHHL/HHHL).
The PCIe/NVMe offers the most cost effective and technologically viable path to scale the performance beyond SATA III speed. Our 2.5” 8TB SSDs can achieve up to 1,200MB/s and 200,000 IOps. Through the use of the PCIe/NVMe, the SATA or SAS interfaces can be entirely eliminated from the computer architecture to reduce the footprint, the overall power consumption, and heat dissipation, as well as enhance system level reliability through the architecture simplification. Most of all, the elimination of SATA or SAS from the CPU to storage media path removes latencies associated with multiple protocol conversions. This results in improved user experience and becomes the prominent SSD used from laptops to data streaming to cloud services.
All newest generation MEMKOR ORANGE series SATA and PCIe/NVMe models support either TCG Opal or ATA command based encryption management with a FIPS 197 validated encryption engine. Select M.2, 2.5” and U.2 models are FIPS 140-2 Level 2 validated. Contact Memkor for more details.
The superior ruggedization of the Memkor ORANGE series complies with a wide range of deployments in embedded, portable computers, desktops, or servers. All ORANGE series PCIe/NVMe drives operate in Extended temperature range (-40C through +85C) and all production units are fully tested across this temperature range in addition to a 12-48 hours unit burn-in.
Memkor ORANGE Series features also include Write Protect, and one of the fastest Data Elimination functions encompassing Crypto Erase (making data unusable in milliseconds), Fast Erase, and Purge.
Conformal coating is standard on all the Industrial/Military grade 1.8”, 2.5” and 3.5” form factor models.
